One of the values of PNW is to be a welcoming environment that fosters diversity and inclusion. The University upheld those same values when the Disability Access Center purchased an Optelec book magnifier machine. This machine is designed to make reading books and other materials easier for those patrons who have vision problems or are visually impaired. This machine is located in the Hammond Campus Library. For more information and the exact location of this machine, please visit the Public Service Desk in the Hammond Campus Library.

The librarians at the Hammond and Westville campuses provide instruction sessions for classes of all subjects when requested by faculty. Just ask, we can work with your schedule: from 30 minutes to multiple class sessions, we can teach students how to locate research articles, books, videos, and other information resources using our catalog, databases, and various search engines.
The University Library has laptops for students to check out for a week at a time. They are not renewable, but upon return another may be checked out if available. Stop in to your campus Library and check one out today.
