Interlibrary Loan is a free service for all current PNW students, staff, and faculty. You can borrow books, DVDs, microfilm, etc. and/or receive photocopies of documents that are owned by another library in the United States.
If we do not own the items you need for your research, we invite you to use this service. It’s a one time setup and you can use this service for the duration of your time here at Purdue University Northwest.
Items generally take six days to come in and can be picked up at the Library’s Public Services Desk. Articles will be emailed to you. The due date for the materials you request is chosen by the lending library.
To sign up for this service, please go to the library’s home page, under “Services,” click “Interlibrary Loan (ILL),” and choose your campus. If you haven’t previously signed up, please click Logon to ILLiad, then under the box click “First Time Users” and fill out all the information. If you have already signed up for ILLiad and you forgot your username and/or password, please contact the library and we will be happy to help you. For step-by-step instructions and more information please see our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) LibGuide on our webpage.
If you need an item from our other PNW campus, please read about our Intercampus Transfer.
