Materials not available in the Purdue Northwest library may be borrowed from other libraries (locally or nationwide) through our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. ILL is a free service for PNW faculty, students, and staff. Books are generally delivered within 6 days and articles are generally received within a few days and are emailed to the borrower. ILL requests are made online using ILLiad for which the faculty, student, or staff member must register for an ILL account.

The Interlibrary Loan service (ILL) allows current Purdue University Northwest faculty, staff, and students to borrow materials not owned by our library. ILL is a free service for PNW faculty, students, and staff. There are no fees for this library service. However, some hard to locate items and foreign language materials may cost. These charges generally vary from $15 to $30 to obtain the loan or article. If there are any charges, faculty and students will be contacted by the interlibrary loan staff for your approval to proceed with the request.
