The University Archives and Special Collections document the history of the Purdue Northwest University. This is the history and information from when we were Purdue Calumet, Purdue North Central, and now as Purdue Northwest.
This collection includes: official records, reports, publications, correspondence, digital files, maps, Photographs, audio-visual material, memorabilia, and Purdue Faculty publications.
The Purdue Northwest Archives and Special Collections mission is to identify, collect, preserve, and make accessible to researcher’s material of enduring value that document the history, culture, scholarship, advancement, and achievements of the university’s faculty, staff, and students.
The Archives collection can be used by students, faculty, staff, and administration throughout the University. We also allow researchers from outside the University to utilize it.
To see our findings aids you can go to the Archive and Special Collection Page. This past year we kicked off our online museum called PNW Digital. We recently also began digitizing Purdue University Calumet and Purdue University North Central student newspapers. This work is still in progress and you can view it at our Internet Archive page.
