Hey, Professor! Did you know you have the option to leave your course materials at the Library’s Public Service Desk for students to use? Well, it’s true! Both campuses provide this service, and it is free for all university instructors to use. This service is called Course Reserves.
With this service, instructors may bring personal copies of their course materials to the Library. These items will be placed on reserve (or hold) for students to use. If the library already owns a copy of the course material, it may be put on reserve as well. Each item’s loan period policy is chosen by the instructor. The most popular loan period is 2-hour library use only, but we also have 3-day or 1-week loan period. Reserve items are kept on a semester -to-semester basis but may be kept longer if the instructor so chooses.
