Non-students may apply for a library card by presenting a valid Indiana or Illinois driver’s license or state ID and completing a PNW Library Card application form. Non-students must be at least 18 years old. Items may be checked out if requests are not in conflict with the needs of Purdue students, and are subject to immediate recall. Visitors may not borrow reserve or Interlibrary Loan materials.
Visitors may not use PNW library computers. Computers may only be used by currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff.
Purdue University Northwest Alumni must have their status verified through Alumni Relations (Westville Campus Tech 101/Hammond Campus Lawshe 322B). Present the issued alumni card and driver’s license at the Front desk for a library card and/or computer access. If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact the Office of Alumni Affairs at (219) 989-2038.
